Product information and sizing

How do I know what is the correct bat size for me?

Bat sizes differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. It's important to know that the handles of all bats size three and above will be approximately 12 inches in length. You can view our bat sizing guide to find out more.

Do you offer assistance with bat sizing?

If you visit us in store, we can provide you with a free bat fitting to find the bat that best suits your size, strengths and cricketing goals. If you can't visit us in-store, you can contact us and we'll do our best to find you your dream bat.

What's the difference between the bat grades?

Each and every cleft and cricket bat is graded internally by our team. We grade our bats due to the aesthetic nature of the willow and whilst some of our bats may feature slight imperfections and blemishes, the performance of the bat is NOT affected.

  • SE Range: These bats are crafted using the finest professional grade willow, usually reserved for our top-level professional players and selected for it's rebound qualities. It is the pinnacle of our craftsmanship and will provide you with unrivalled playing characteristics.
  • PRO Range: Selected from the finest english willow the pro range features evenly spaced grains with each bat offering exceptional rebound and playing characteristics, making it a desirable choice for aspiring professional cricketers and our most popular range.
  • PLAYER Range: Crafted from the finest english willow our player range is one of our most popular series. Please expect these bats to have mild blemishing or feature small butterflies. This grade is a fantastic choice, offering outstanding playability.
  • LIGNUM Range: These bats will feature blemishes and knots, therefore not making the grade for our standard ranges.

Do I need to knock my bat in when it arrives?

No you don't have to! We meticulously knock in all of our cricket bats by hand, meaning you can begin using them as soon as it leaves our workshop.

What sizes do you offer for pads and gloves?

We provide batting pads and gloves in both adult, youth and junior sizes. In some instances, we can also offer XL adult sizes in gloves and pads. For more information, please see our Size Guides.
