August 2026

always Never Normal

Another week. More runs. More Stories. More people refusing to do things the normal way. From the workshop floor to cricket grounds around the world, here's what the M&H Family has been up to over the last fortnight.

Rugby & Cricket Collide

England rugby star Ben Earl swapped the rugby pitch for a trip to M&H, stopping by to see what goes on behind the scenes and, of course, get stuck into a bit of bat chat with Jamie Overton. Proof that even one of the most explosive players in English rugby can’t resist picking up a bat. Different sport. Same obsession with performance.

A century to remember for Dan Quick, who reached three figures for Taunton Cricket Club with a superb innings full of confidence and class. Dan has been working hard at his cricket and this is just reward.

Some innings deserve a standing ovation, and Brandon F's 134 for Lancashire U13s was certainly one of them. A superb display of shot-making, concentration and confidence saw him turn a great start into a truly memorable score.
When you're in form, you stick with what works—and Imogen S is doing exactly that. After piling on the runs all season, her C100 has become the bat she loves taking to the crease. Plenty of boundaries, plenty of smiles, and hopefully plenty more runs still to come!
Stepping up when it mattered, Luke H produced a classy 60 for Gloucestershire with an innings full of intent and maturity. Built on confident strokeplay and smart decision-making, it was another performance to be proud of. Congratulations, Luke—keep the runs flowing!
Every cricketer remembers their first century—and Niamh W made hers one to remember. An unbeaten 111* for Somerset Stragglers. A huge milestone in her cricketing journey. Here's to the first of many. Congratulations, Niamh!
Blink and you'd have missed it. Ria P lit up the innings with a blistering 55 from just 34 balls, taking the attack to the bowlers from the very start. Fearless, fluent and full of intent, it was an innings that kept the scoreboard racing. Brilliant batting, Ria -keep playing your game!
A first half-century is one you'll never forget, and Rowan M made sure this one was worth remembering with 50 for Huddersfield U12s. Every big score starts with the first, and this feels like the beginning of plenty more. Brilliant effort, Rowan!
A huge congratulations to Sol Bennett on being named Captain of Jersey U19s, a brilliant recognition of the hard work, commitment and example he sets for those around him. Wishing you and the team every success this season, Sol.
