F1 Stars love M&H!

Earlier on in the year some of the more eagle-eyed of you may have seen us featured in the Sky Sports Ashes coverage. Having only just recovered from England’s defeat in the competition, and Aussie Phil’s incessant remarks in the workshop, we thought it was about time we highlighted this Sky feature and the following viral video. With the help of one of sponsored player, Tymal Mills, our kit took centre stage in a heated head-to-head battle between F1 stars and Maclaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Norris hailing from England and Piastri from Australia, they recreated an Ashes-style match at Richmond Cricket Club featuring two star-studded teams.

Norris went into the match looking confident, lining up alongside Tymal Mills, Mark Butcher and former F1 driver Damon Hill, he opted to bat first. It looked a tough wicket and with Piastri bowling some extremely tight lines, England were limited to a meagre 34 runs. Piastri and his squad of the F1 presenting team, and England’s Tammy Beaumont, made light work of the total to secure the victory.
